We had the opportunity to showcase our work with The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the HTM112 Tutor—an AI training assistant powered by RAG technology and hosted on Azure Government that delivers personalized, 24/7 learning for biomedical staff.
After our presentation, we spoke to the over 250 attendees to share more about how we’re helping agencies deliver secure, scalable, citizen-centric services with measurable impact.

The Innovation
Through our work with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM), the agency is leading the charge in innovative, mission-enabling training. We–HTM, the Microsoft Summit Data Platform team, and Kilda Group–launched the groundbreaking HTM112 Tutor – a secure and powerful AI tool designed to personalize the training and education experience for participants of the Basic Networking for Biomedical Staff course.
As the first deployed Summit AI Assistant hosted securely on Azure Government, it delivers a truly personalized learning journey. Using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, the Tutor empowers HTM professionals with 24/7 access to ask specific questions and receive tailored support drawn directly from official HTM course materials.
At the showcase, we demoed how it actively reinforces understanding, demystifies complex networking concepts, and directly supports the application of skills on the job, ensuring HTM professionals master critical knowledge efficiently within a cutting-edge, compliant VA environment. This transformative tool was developed with the innovation and support of the VA’s Microsoft Summit Data Platform team.
