Job Description:
Seeking a sharp Management Consultant with high integrity and a commitment to quality.
- Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide operational solutions to meet the customer’s needs
- Facilitate communication between the business units and the IT organization
- Possess an understanding of enterprise technology and the SDLC
- Be able to translate technical terms into business vernacular
- Work with a project team to set up and manage an Operational Readiness Center which serves to track system deployment timelines and issues
- Interface with business clients, prepare documentation, conduct meetings and manage projects

Business Process Consultant

Job Description:
- Research and analyze complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of the organization
- Provide subject matter expertise to Management to improve the organization’s performance
- Facilitate organizational change strategy development Conduct scoping, scheduling and facilitating workshops with the business and subject matter experts (SMEs) to discover, document, analyze and optimize business processes
- Apply appropriate methodology (e.g., internal business improvement methodology, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to enable internal clients to achieve their desired business results
- Maintain and expand the organization’s business improvement methodology based on best practices
- Participate in business process modeling sessions, acting as a documentarian, facilitator or subject matter expert in sketch sessions
- Utilize structured interview techniques to analyze processes and perform detailed gap analysis between current and future state
- Conduct process mapping techniques
- Create and validate the project’s business cases and work plans
- Advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities
- Research emerging best practices in process redesign and improvement, assess their relevance and incorporate them into the existing business improvement methodology
- Document and validate project progress and results
Required Skills:
- Previous experience in business process re-engineering or business process improvement involving broad-based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to effect business changes (Lean Six Sigma, etc.)
- Experience providing diagnostic evaluations (i.e., performance assessment) of the current state of a process or a business area (e.g., department, function, and team)
- Knowledge of change management concepts
- Experience using Business Process Management software (e.g., Casewise Corporate Modeler, WebSphere Process Modeler, ARIS, GemworX FlowModeler)
- Experience developing and leading cross-functional process improvement teams
- Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external customers at all levels of an organization
- Ability to facilitate consensus and negotiate compromise
- Must be a strategic thinker, who can transform ideas into practical implementation at a detailed level
- MS Office and MS Project proficiency
